Can I install myself?
Yes. Many customers do the work themselves. We supply the parts and the guidance to get it done.
Are recycled batteries safe?
They are tested and guaranteed. We only use OEM quality cells that meet strict standards.
What range will I get?
It depends on your build and use. Tell us what you need and we will design for it.
Can I have new batteries?
Yes. New batteries are available if your build demands it. Recycled remains the standard.
How long does it take?

Will this ruin the weight distribution of my Defender?
No. Depending on your choice of kit we provide solutions to maintain your vehicle's centre of gravity. This is not just about 'how it sits', it's a key engineering element to ensure the vehicle drives safely; on the road or off it.
Do I need high-voltage electrical certification?
We can provide 'plug and play' kits that allow you to install and power up your vehicle in an electrically safe manner. The HV electrical connections in particular are keyed so it's impossible to put a cable in the wrong socket. Some idea of the theory and respect for the physics does help though!
Do I keep my original gearbox?
Your choice! It all depends on your use case for the vehicle. However, you will certainly be retaining the LT230 transfer case. This is key to maintaining the Hi/Lo and difflock functions that are so key to the Defender's DNA. Keeping the gearbox aids flexibility, but reduces range, so there is a tradeoff. We can provide solutions to either keep the gearbox, or provide a direct drive into the transfer case.
