Electric Conversion Kits for Series Land Rovers.
Give your Series Land Rover a new chapter with electric power. Our semi-bespoke conversion kits bring smoother, quieter driving to a classic worth keeping. Whether you’re taking on the installation yourself or need support with the build, we’ll help shape a package around your vehicle, your plans and your budget.

Your Series. Your project. Our expertise.
Every Series Land Rover has its own history. We start with the vehicle you have and the way you want to use it, then work through the details that make your conversion right for you.

Proven Components, New Purpose
Quality electric vehicle components deserve a useful second life. By building around tested, repurposed OEM motors and batteries, we help make electric conversion more accessible while putting existing engineering to work in your classic.

Built Around Series Capability
Low-range control and four-wheel drive are part of what makes a Series so useful. We’ll assess your existing drivetrain and recommend a conversion layout that suits your vehicle, whether it spends its days on country lanes, muddy tracks or both.

A Build You Can Be Part Of
For many Series owners, working on the vehicle is part of the pleasure. Our modular approach lets you take on the mechanical work that suits your skills, with matched components and technical guidance to help your project move forward.

Battery Packaging That Respects Your Series.
Space is precious in a Series Land Rover. Battery capacity, enclosure dimensions and mounting positions all need to work with the vehicle’s layout and the way you intend to use it.
Our battery enclosures are designed in-house using 3D CAD. We plan the installation around the available space, with careful attention to secure mounting, weight distribution, protection and access for maintenance. The aim is a practical conversion that feels considered from the chassis up.
We’ll talk you through tested, repurposed OEM batteries and new battery options, balancing range, packaging and cost to arrive at a specification that makes sense for your build.

FAQs
Planning a Series Land Rover conversion? Start here for answers on installation, batteries and choosing the right setup.
Can I install the kit myself?
Self-installation can form part of your project. The work you take on will depend on your experience and the kit specification. We’ll agree what you can fit yourself, where specialist help is needed and how the completed system will be checked before use.
Are second-life batteries safe?
Battery condition and integration matter more than the label “second-life”. We use tested OEM batteries selected for suitability, with battery management and protective systems forming part of the conversion. We’ll explain the battery specification proposed for your build.
What range will my electric Series Land Rover have?
Range depends on battery capacity, vehicle weight, tyres, speed, terrain and temperature. Tell us about your usual journeys and charging opportunities, and we’ll recommend a suitable capacity with realistic expectations for your vehicle.
Can I choose new batteries?
Yes. New batteries can be considered alongside repurposed OEM options. The best choice depends on your budget, target range and the space available. We’ll explain the differences so you can choose the option that suits your project.
How long will my conversion take?
Kit preparation and installation times depend on the specification, your Land Rover’s condition and who carries out the work. We’ll confirm an expected supply timeline once the package is agreed. Any repairs or additional fabrication should also be factored into your build schedule.
How will batteries affect the weight and balance of my Series?
Battery placement is part of the design from the outset. We consider the weight being removed as well as the equipment being added, alongside mounting locations and axle loading. Your desired range needs to work with the vehicle’s carrying capacity, handling and intended use.
What experience do I need for the electrical installation?
Mechanical confidence is useful, but high-voltage work requires appropriate competence and safe working procedures. We’ll explain the installation requirements for your chosen kit and identify the work that needs specialist involvement. Final electrical checks and commissioning should be planned into the project from the start.
Can I retain my original gearbox and four-wheel drive?
We’ll assess that against your particular Series and its existing drivetrain. Keeping the original gearbox may suit your plans, but the motor connection and transfer-box arrangement need to be confirmed for the build. We’ll discuss gearing, high and low range, and four-wheel-drive operation before agreeing the specification.
